The Malaysian Giant Katydid [Arachnacris corporalis] is the world's largest
katydid species and one of the largest insects overall reaching 15 cm [nearly 6"]
in length with a wingspan of 25 cm [nearly 10"].

Usually bright green with very long legs, some specimens are beige with longitudinal
dark bands. They are carnivores and eat insects and have been seen to eat each
other. Harmless to us, though, and highly prized as pets.
